About the London Robotic Breast Institute
The London Robotic Breast Institute (LRBI) is an independent patient information resource on robotic-assisted breast reconstruction in the UK. It is affiliated with Breastory. It is not a hospital and it does not take appointments.
What LRBI is
LRBI explains robotic-assisted breast reconstruction for people in the UK. Much of what you will find elsewhere is hospital news or specialist papers. This site focuses on reconstruction — especially robotic DIEP flap harvest — in plain language, with sources.
What LRBI is not
It is not a clinic, a booking site, or a claim that robotic reconstruction is offered at Breastory. There are no surgeon biographies or “meet the team” pages here.
Relationship to Breastory
LRBI is affiliated with Breastory, a specialist breast care practice in London. That means shared values and links to Breastory’s reconstruction guides. It does not mean this is the practice website, or that Breastory currently offers robotic reconstruction.
How this site uses sources
Each page shows when it was last reviewed. Figures and claims that need a source have a numbered link you can open.
Hospital news is labelled as press. That is not the same as a peer-reviewed study.
Research on robotic mastectomy — removing the breast — is not used here as evidence that robotic DIEP reconstruction is better. Those are different operations.
