Robotic-assisted breast reconstruction in the UK

Robotic surgery is beginning to change how some breast reconstructions are performed — especially procedures that use your own tissue, such as a DIEP flap. In the UK, this work is still limited to a small number of specialist centres.

The London Robotic Breast Institute (LRBI) explains what robotic-assisted reconstruction is, what patients might expect, and how it relates to wider choices after breast cancer — in plain language, without appointment booking.

Phase 1: educational content only. When robotic reconstruction is offered through Breastory, this site will link to that service clearly — until then, there is no booking pathway here.
